I investigated the differences between adding paste and white to 25 hues and how it affects the brightness and purity of the colours. We spend a staggering amount of time in our lives eating and traveling from one place to another. During this ritual activity we often engage in reading, despite reading being a very private activity. I have produced a series of objects that make a statement on our way of life. The first object is a book sleeve to disguise the book we are actually reading. Often with a glance, people judge others by the kind of book they read. By having an official jacket of a reputable book cover, We can read whatever we fancy and feel secured at all times. The second object is a book sleeve to conceal the title of books we read. This is tailored for commuters who feel uncomfortable having to share the contents of the book they are reading with others. Once the title is concealed, the text block becomes anonymous. The third object is a plate with conversational topics mapped on it.
